About Kolonie Wedding
Art spaces in the Soldiner Kiez Berlin
Kolonie Wedding is an association and network of non-commercial art project spaces in the Soldiner Kiez in Berlin-Wedding. On every last Friday of the month, the curators and artists jointly invite the public to exhibition openings in their project spaces and studios.
Guided tours
On Friday evenings and the following Sunday afternoons, guided tours take place during which each participating space will present its exhibition and visitors can talk with the artists.
The project spaces of Kolonie Wedding showcase broad and international spectrum of contemporary art. Often the visual art is accompanied by music and poetry, club and bar programmes.

Join
Become a member
Anyone who is artistically active in the Soldiner Kiez can become a member. There is a committee that meets to discuss membership. Criteria for admission as a member are: a space/location and a concept for exhibitions as well as a strong commitment to regular participation. Unfortunately, membership does not include the allocation of a room.

Cooperations
Many members of the Kolonie Wedding originally from different countries. Through them and their local and international co-operations and artist exchange programmes, Kolonie Wedding comes alive. In search of artistic inspiration, the members are always happy about exchange and new impulses.

As a non-commercial association, Kolonie Wedding welcomes your private or corporate support. Through continuous idealistic and financial support, you enable the preservation and development of the art association and its cultural environment. From 60 euros a year, you become a supporting member and part of our network. Whether in the form of monetary donations, contributions in kind, sponsoring or the provision of helpful contacts – your help will benefit the project spaces of the Kolonie. You will be the first to receive newsletters, invitations to guided tours and exclusive events. To get an impression behind the scenes of the Kolonie’s work, you can meet the curators and artists.
